The Southeast Nebraska Cancer Center - Providing Complete Cancer Care, Close to Home

The Southeast Nebraska Cancer Center (SNCC) opened in January 2005 near 68th and O Streets in Lincoln, Neb. A second location at 3901 Pine Lake Road was added in 2007. SNCC Centers offer a comforting place where advanced medicine and compassion meet. By combining medical oncology and radiation oncology services, SNCC gives their patients the benefit of advanced technology under the guidance of two specialized teams in the same location.

SNCC offers a team-centered, patient-focused approach to patient care and treatment. The SNCC team wants patients to understand what they do, how they provide treatment and how a patient's illness may affect them. Patients are encouraged to ask questions, share their concerns and discuss any issues.

Drs. Cary Peterson, Mark Carlson, Alan Berg, Nate Green, Stacy Knox, Bennett Barrios, Phil Hynes and Kam Chiu comprise the physician team at Southeast Nebraska Cancer Center.

The Eppley Cancer Center

The Eppley Cancer Center is the only National Cancer Institute designated Cancer Center in Nebraska, and a founding member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, an alliance of 19 of the world's leading cancer centers that develop standards and set guidelines for treating patients. The Eppley Cancer Center is committed to discovering causes of cancer and developing novel therapies for treating and preventing cancer. The Center also has a cancer research training program that provides graduate students and post-doctoral fellows with the opportunities to obtain advanced training in a multidisciplinary environment.
