Thirty-two foursomes enjoyed golfing with the Husker Football Coaches and other celebrities at the beautiful Omaha Country Club on May 7, 2012. Head Coach Bo Pelini and Larry the Cable Guy were among the Celebrity Golfers that included the assistant football coaches and staff and other Husker celebrities such as Tommie Frazier, Eric Crouch and Neil Smith.
The Bo Pelini Foundation supports nonprofit organizations dedicated to the fight against cancer and juvenile and adult diabetes. In addition, the BPF provides targeted financial assistance to programs which advance opportunities for disadvantaged children, particularly young people growing up in Nebraska. To date, the Bo Pelini Foundation has donated nearly $500,000 to charities that fit with the mission, including more than $200,000 to breast cancer research.
